Craig’s love for Engine building began when he was just 16, after he completed his college course in motor engineering from there he started working for a local race team full time. In Craig’s younger years he was taken under the wing of George Wadsworth Racing Fabrications where he learnt to build and develop race engines from Lotus Twin Cam to BDG. Craig also got the opportunity to travel across Europe looking after 2ltr sports cars and can-AM cars with Ian Jones and the team

Craig Beck Racing Ltd then opened its doors back in November 2007. We started by building more modern Engines such as Duratec, K series and Zetec but word of mouth quickly spread which involved us back in the Historic Race Engine scene. Soon we were back in Craig’s area of expertise, building Lotus Twin Cam, BDG’s and ford X-flow engines. Craig’s enthusiasm for development and his keen interest in all types of engines took him into BMW M10 engine development. Craig talent for development was only fueled with the constant strive for perfection with the customisation of engine components to increase reliability and improve power and drivability of every engine.
